4 Spectacular Summer Experiences!

Summer Programs

Peninsula School of the Arts is excited to announce our 2026 Summer Programs!

With 4 amazing summer programs for all ages and abilities, you are sure to find the perfect option for your family.

 

Each week of dancing has a designated theme to spark creativity and keep your student active this summer. Camp participants will present their work to their parents at the end of each week with a short performance.

My First Dance Camp

  • M-F 9-12pm

  • Ballet 9-10am, Storytime 10:30-11am, Rehearsal 11am-12pm

  • Please send your child with water and a snack as there be a break at 10am

  • Cost: $225 tuition per week

  • Ages: 3-6

 

My First Dance Camp is the perfect summer program for our youngest aspiring dancers. It is an exciting and fun-filled week designed for young kids to explore movement and rhythm in a creative and engaging environment. The classes are set in our beautiful studio 3, and dancers will learn ballet movements in a fun, creative way. Children will enjoy age-appropriate lessons and games, all while having a blast connecting with others and discovering the joy of dance. It's the perfect place for kids to grow their confidence and creativity while having a great time! Parents will be invited to watch their students in a mini-showcase on the last day of camp.
 

Week 1: Unicorns and Dragons
July 6th-10th

Join us for a week and transform into a unicorn or a dragon!
 

Week 2: Dancing Around the World
July 13th-17th

Join us this week as we go on a worldwide adventure in dance! Students will enjoy dancing to music from international cultures.​

Week 3: Fairies and Elves
July 20th-24th

Join us this summer as we transform into Fairies and Elves!

Junior Intensive

  • M-F 9am-12:30pm,

  • Ballet 9am-10:30pm, Rehearsal 10:30-11:30am, Stretching and Conditioning 11:30am-12:30pm

  • Cost: $290 tuition per week

  • Ages: 7-12

 

Peninsula School of the Arts Junior Intensive is for ages 7-12. Students will participate in classes such as ballet technique and repertoire, in addition to stretching and conditioning. Students will perform in a mini showcase on the last day of camp.

 

Week 1: Cinderella
July 6th-10th

In Week 1, discover the beautiful ballet of Cinderella

 

Week 2: Dancing Around the World
July 13th-17th

In Week 2, students will have the opportunity to learn about world cultures through music and dance.

 

​Week 3: Sleeping Beauty
July 20th-24th

In Week 3, students will explore the ballet of Sleeping Beauty. From beautiful fairies to a sleepy princess, each day is a journey into a magical kingdom.
 

Summer Intensive poster

Summer Intensive

  • M-F 10am-4pm

  • Cost: $450 tuition per week

  • Ages: 13-18

 

​Peninsula School of the Arts Senior Intensive Program is for students ages 13-18. Dancers will participate in classes such as ballet technique, pointe, repertoire, stretching and conditioning. Our program offers an immersive experience where students refine their technique as well as explore character interpretation and artistry. The faculty comprise of Peninsula Ballet Theatre's professional ballet dancers. Twice a week, students will take company class with Artistic Director, Gregory Amato. Students will perform in a small showcase on the last day of camp.

 

​Week 1: Cinderella
July 6th-10th

Join us this week as we dive into the ballet of Cinderella.

​Week 2: Dancing Around the World
July 13th-17th

In Week 2, students will have the opportunity to learn about world cultures through music and dance. Dancers will learn choreography from famous story ballets, as well repertory from Peninsula Ballet Theatre

Week 3: Carmen
July 20th-24th

Join us this week as we dive into a fiery classic, Carmen. This intricate choreography will allow dancers to work on their technique and skills.
 

All Day and Aftercare Camp poster

All Day Camp and Aftercare

​

  • M-F All Day Camp 9am-3pm; Aftercare available 3-5pm

  • Cost: All Day Camp $450 tuition per week; optional Aftercare $200 per week

  • Ages: 6-10


July 20th-24th

Students will learn about dance and movement, enjoy stories, games, and arts and crafts! Send your child with a bagged lunch and snacks as there will be lunch and snack breaks throughout the day. Parents will be invited to watch their students in a mini-showcase on the last day of camp.
 
After camp care is available from 3:00 - 5:00 for an additional $200 - register in DSP separately
Students will play at the studio, read books, make puzzles, color along and play with friends. If signed up, you can pick up your child anytime between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm.​

  • Cancellation Policy: A $25 nonrefundable registration fee is due at the time of registration for all summer camps. If you need to cancel your summer camp registration, Peninsula School of the Arts must be notified prior to July 1, 2026. Full camp tuition is due by July 1st or upon the day of registration, if registering after July 1, 2026.
