New 6-Week Workshop: July 24th through August 28th
Giselle Repertoire Workshop
This 6-week workshop (July 24 - August 28) is for beginner/intermediate adult students who wish to learn ballet repertoire. From 6:15 - 7:45 students will participate in a technique class with Greg Amato, followed by a 45-minute repertory class with PBT Company member Kelley Hashemi. The class will learn material from a timeless classic, Giselle, a hauntingly beautiful tale of love, betrayal, and redemption.
*Attendance at the Thursday night Intermediate class is required to attend the workshop portion
from 7:45 - 8:30.
Ballet

Beginning
Class Description: Beginning Ballet for adults new to ballet or returning from some time off.

Beginning / Intermediate
Class Description: Adults with some ballet experience to intermediate level.
Sunday classes are accompanied with live music by Shirley Cheng.

Intermediate
Class Description: Adults with intermediate level experience

Intermediate / Advanced / Open
Class Description: Adults with at least one year of ballet experience through to professional level.

Pointe Class
Class Description: Students will participate in an hour and a half technique class followed by a 45-minute pointe class. This class is designed for adult dancers focusing on strength, technique, and safety while dancing en pointe.

Contemporary

Tap

This adult tap class offers a vibrant and dynamic way to reconnect with the joy of dance. In this lively environment, participants of various skill levels come together to master rhythm and technique through energetic footwork and syncopated beats. The class typically begins with a warm-up to loosen the body and increase flexibility, followed by a series of progressively challenging tap combinations and routines. With a focus on both technical precision and expressive performance, adults can enjoy a full-body workout while also fostering a sense of camaraderie and creative expression. Whether revisiting a childhood passion or discovering tap for the first time, students leave the class with a renewed appreciation for the rhythm and grace of this classic dance form.​​​​
Hip Hop

Class Description: This class is for adult students who wish to learn the fundamentals of hip-hop, as well as those who know the fundamentals and wish to expand on those skills in an exciting and fun way. Dancers will learn terminology, steps, and combinations to improve their knowledge of hip-hop.
