June Showcase will take place at the Capuchino High School Theater on Friday, June 7

  • There will be a rehearsal at the theater on Wednesday, June 5

Class Placement

  • All NEW students must take a placement/trial class to determine their correct ballet level. Contact us to schedule your $12 trial class!

  • Levels are determined based on age, technique, and ability

  • Current or former PSA students will receive their level placement via email

Class Description: (Ages 3-4) For our youngest aspiring dancers, this 45-minute class introduces children to the joy of dance and movement.

Class Description: (Ages 4.5-6) For our youngest aspiring dancers, this 45-minute class introduces children to the joy of dance and movement.

Level 1

Class Description: (Ages 6-8)  Beginner level, 60-minute technique class where students begin to learn the foundations of classical ballet technique.

Class Description: (Ages 8-10) 75-minute technique classes where students expand on the foundations of classical ballet technique, introducing more complex barre and center work.

Class Description: (Ages 9-11) 75-minute technique classes where students expand on the foundations learned in Level 2.

Level 4

Class Description: (Ages 10-14) 90- to 120-minute intermediate technique class for students with experience. Students in Level 4 will begin preparing for pointe work with weekly pre-pointe class.

Class Description: (Ages 12-16) 90- to 135-minute intermediate/advanced technique classes for students with experience. Students in Level 5 will have weekly pointe and contemporary classes.

Class Description: (Ages 14 and up by placement only) 90- to 135-minute advanced technique classes for our most advanced students. Students in Level 6 will have weekly pointe, variations, and contemporary classes, in addition to a special professional-level class with company dancers.

Mentorship Program

Program Description: (Ages 12+) The mentorship program is open to all Level 5 and 6 students. Dancers must attend a minimum of four Level 5 or Level 6 classes per week, and will have two private lessons/mentoring sessions each month with a faculty or company member. Enrollment in the program is limited and requested mentors are not guaranteed

  • 60 minutes: $88

Class Description: (Ages 3-5) For young aspiring dancers, this 60-minute class introduces children to ballet and tap dance.

Class Description: (Ages 4-17) Students learn the fundamentals of tap technique in a fun and creative way. Dancers will learn basic terminology, steps, and combinations to improve their knowledge and skill of tap dance.

Class Description: (Ages 5-17) Students learn the fundamentals of hip-hop in an exciting and fun way. Dancers will learn basic terminology, steps, and combinations to improve their knowledge of hip-hop.

Musical Theater Dance

Class Description: (Ages 5-18) Musical Theater Dance class is a great way to be introduced to the world of Musical Theater through dance! We learn dance styles that are performed in Broadway musicals, as well as choreography from pieces in musicals old and new. Come play and learn in a creative and fun space, designed to inspire the performer within! Musical Theater Classes are conducted in sessions.

  • Session 1: September 11 - November 27

  • Session 2: January 8 - March 25
    Students of Session 2 will have the opportunity to perform with the PBT professionals in Salute To Broadway on February 3rd

  • Session 3: April 8 - June 9
