The Peninsula International Dance Festival returns for its fourth annual celebration with two exuberant performances on Saturday, July 19, and Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 2pm, at the San Mateo Performing Arts Center. Showcasing the rich cultural diversity of the Bay Area and Northern California, the festival is anticipated to feature an extraordinary lineup of approximately 250 world dance artists and musicians, presenting works that honor both traditional and contemporary interpretations of global dance.
Audiences will experience a breathtaking array of styles, from grand ensemble pieces to intimate solos, brought to life through vibrant costumes, masterful choreography, and deeply rooted storytelling. Past participants have included Ballet Folklórico Mexicano de Carlos Moreno, Bolivia Corazón de America, Charya Burt Cambodian Dance, Theatre Flamenco of San Francisco, and many more.
