Jarell "Skeeter" Boyd

Jarell “Skeeter” Boyd is a Bay Area–born dancer, educator, and choreographer known for his mastery and preservation of Turfing, a street dance style rooted in Oakland’s rich cultural history. With over a decade of performance, teaching, and battle experience, he has represented the style internationally in Paris and Montreal, performed on major stages including the Super Bowl with Kendrick Lamar, and appeared in campaigns for Nike and multiple recording artists. Through his company, The Turf Shop, he is dedicated to uplifting youth, honoring Bay Area culture, and creating platforms for the next generation of dancers.
