INTERNATIONAL PERFORMING ARTS OF AMERICA

Founded in 2018, the International Performing Arts of America (IPAA) is a dynamic non-profit dance company rooted in the Bay Area, passionately committed to celebrating culture through movement and choreography.  We believe dance holds the power to illuminate the diversity and richness of ethnic traditions while telling deeply personal stories. Our inclusive team is composed of professional ballet and ethnic dancers, as well as trained dance enthusiasts, who come together from diverse backgrounds across the Bay Area. Though we come from different walks of life, we share dance as a universal language for communicating with the world. Since its inception, IPAA has presented annual Arts Festivals, producing and showcasing approximately 65 original choreographies that represent a variety of global styles. We have collaborated with over 40 talented guest performing groups to celebrate our diversity and shared passion for dance, music, and culture. We strive to cultivate a truly inclusive and vibrant artistic community.  Our 9th Annual International Arts Festival: “弈” (Choices) is scheduled for October 17, 2026, at 7:30 PM at the California Theatre in San Jose.
